What’s In The Course?
I’ve structured this course into 12 modules with over 20+ hours of video content.

In this module we will be laying the groundwork, beginning with the creative brief, how and why we moodboard and map as well as how to repeat this process for each unique project. -
This module gets to the core components of Type - including anatomy, deconstruction, illusions and archetypes.

Using the knowledge shared in the previous module, we get to grips with rough sketching, consistency and understanding how script works.

Generating and expanding the strongest concept is something you can curate and develop as a skill on your journey to professional logotype design.

The difference between good work and great work is refinement. Understanding how to notice the small details is key to be able to action them.

In this module we take our logo into software to vectorise it - utilising the box method and solid knowledge of the pen tool to take any guess work out of the equation.

It’s that important that it needs another module. Refining our logotype now that it’s digitised helps us spot any issues we may not have seen before importing our design to software.

Using Glyphs we will trace and test our refined, digitised logotype, making any further adjustments after using my top methods to check readability and any scale issues.

We have our completed logotype - how do we share this professionally with our client? Some good things to keep in mind to make your pitch go smoother.

Psychology plays a huge role in design - from presentation to colours, all visual choices make us as humans feel something; good, bad or indifferent - and why mock-ups are so important for helping our clients see our vision.

He’s been designing for over a decade, beginning as a freelance artist to now being the proud owner of his own design agency.
